In 2002, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with honors.
He completed his three-year residency in orthodontics at the University of Florida in 2005 while also earning a Master of Science degree for research on the perceptions of facial esthetics following jaw surgery.
Along the way, Dr. Montini was a collegiate athlete and an accomplished artist. As an undergraduate, he earned a varsity letter in cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track. He was awarded the ACC Post-Graduate Scholarship for excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and service.
Closely aligned with his longtime love of drawing, painting, and sculpting, he completed his master’s research in facial esthetics. He believes his artistic background gives him a unique skill set as an orthodontist who bridges art with science.
Dr. Montini maintains an active life outside of work. Family time is a priority and he and his wife, Karin, have two growing boys who keep them plenty busy. They enjoy attending their sporting events and other activities at school.
In his spare time, Dr. Montini also enjoys running for exercise, attempting to improve his golf game, traveling whenever possible, and continuing his hobby of drawing and painting.
